About the Role:
As a Production Technician, you will use your skills to focus on quality and continue to look out for ways of improving how efficiently we can produce our products at a rate that can keep up with our Sales Team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Attend morning briefings to understand the production schedule for the day.
- Assemble products quickly and efficiently aligned with the daily schedule.
- Use our digital workflow system to record parts used and products assembled.
- Work with the Shipping and Receiving team to ensure items are ready for despatch.
- Routinely building tanks to rigorous specifications.
- Fit and assembling metal parts, tools, or sub-assemblies.
- Install hoses and fittings to tanks.
- Use a variety of handheld and fixed tools such as cranes.
- Ensure all areas of work are kept safe and tidy.
- Identify and share ideas for improving processes in the assembly area.
- Operate in a way that puts the safety of yourself and others as the highest priority.
- Work as a team to get the job done.
What will give you the edge:
- Able to communicate effectively.
- Able to follow both written and verbal instructions.
- Able to work confidently in a workshop environment.
- Strong hand-eye coordination.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Able to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Confident with technology.
Not required, but nice to have:
- Experience of welding or brazing parts.
- Electrical knowledge, understanding and experience.
- A skilled forklift operator (reach and counterbalance).
