Summary
We are looking for a motivated team member to join our team. Responsible for the ultimate guest service by providing a warm welcoming atmosphere.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities :
- Report to work for scheduled shifts on time
- Be in complete and proper uniform before entering any guest area
- Maintain proper grooming habits
- Responsible for clocking in and out, having first checked with management that it's OK to leave
- Know your scheduled working hours
- Attend all required meetings and seminars as scheduled
- Read all information on the employee bulletin board
- Responsible for updating '86' and shortage lists
- Keep work area neat and clean
- Know all menu ingredients, including daily specials
- Know all wines, including wines by the glass and their decorations
- Know all drink specials, including ingredients, descriptions, proper glassware, and appropriate garnishes
- Know all dessert specials and descriptions
- Maintain a positive, high energy attitude with guests and fellow employees at all times
- Complete all side work as directed
- Keep all beverages completely stocked : alert management to any shortages
- Know proper use of the POS computer system
- Maintain high standards of sanitation and safety at all times
- Be aware of table and position numbers
- Know proper procedures for handling a House Charge, Member Charge, Credit Card Charge and or Reciprocal Charge
- Know proper procedure for processing gift cards
- Take food and / or drinks from the port in the proper manner (i.e. spindling checks, crossing off items as they are taken, proper garnishes)
- Know how to take "To-Go" Orders (Walk-In and Phone)
- Serve customers promptly and with positive attitude
- Ensure items are all rung on the customer checks as they receive them
- Use team work at all times
- Communicate any complaints to management
- Remain in your station unless management has been notified
- Follow all house or company polices, systems, controls, and procedures
- Be gracious, pleasant and thoughtful
- Know all telephone answering procedures and reservation procedures
- Check Side Work Board for items to be completed
- All other duties-assigned by manager
- Check with manager before leaving
