Here’s What You Will Be Doing
As the Front Desk Receptionist, you will be the face and voice of LAPMG, responsible for handling calls, greeting visitors, managing key office functions, and supporting our property management teams with a range of clerical tasks.
- Answering and directing calls on a multi-line phone system, ensuring each call is handled with the highest level of professionalism.
- Greeting visitors and clients, determining their needs, and directing them to the appropriate personnel.
- Managing important administrative tasks such as receiving payments, issuing receipts, and tracking property keys.
- Assisting with leasing inquiries and facilitating communication between tenants and leasing agents.
- Keeping office areas organized and maintaining the inventory of office supplies.
You Need These Qualifications
- You have excellent verbal and written communication skills, and you know how to handle sensitive information with discretion.
- You are fluent in both English and Spanish, with the ability to engage and communicate with a diverse group of people.
- You have 1 years of experience in front desk or receptionist role (property management experience is a bonus but not required).
- You are proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and you can quickly learn to use property management software like AppFolio, Property Meld, etc.
- You are known for your strong organizational skills, and you can juggle multiple priorities without missing a beat.
It Would Be Nice If
- You have worked in a property management setting before and understand the ins and outs of handling leasing inquiries and tenant relations.
- You are familiar with AppFolio or similar property management systems, though we can provide training.
- You have experience handling payments and preparing receipts or are comfortable learning these tasks.
