Job Details: Western Mechanical is currently looking for a dependable, hardworking and a team player HVAC Installer to join our company. As a HVAC Installer, you will be responsible for the installation of sheet metal / ductwork for HVAC systems in commercial buildings. As well as installation and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in residential properties.
KEY RESPONSIBILITES:
- Installation of sheet metal / ductwork for HVAC systems in commercial buildings.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine the sheet metal layout and installation requirements.
- Set up, calibrate, and test HVAC systems to ensure they operate efficiently and meet industry standards.
- Install HVAC systems including air conditioners, furnaces, heat pumps, ductwork, fireplaces, new construction and related components in residential settings.
- Conduct routine inspections to ensure systems are functioning correctly and efficiently.
- Communicate effectively with clients to explain HVAC system operations, maintenance requirements, and operation.
- Ensure all installations and repairs meet local building codes, safety regulations, and manufacturer specifications.
- Complete and submit accurate records of services performed, including installation details, maintenance, and repair work.
- Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations to maintain a safe work environment.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
- 2-4 years previous experience is preferred.
- Proficiency in sheet metal / ductwork installation.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC sheet metal / ductwork components.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, tools, and equipment.
- Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues efficiently.
- Valid driver's license
