General Summary
Develops, implements and evaluates recruitment and outreach activities, strategies and programs to recruit, admit and enroll students to an assigned department at the University.
Major Duties
- Develops, implements and oversees strategic plans to recruit students with an emphasis on recruitment and retention. Recommends admissions policies, procedures and outreach activities.
- Builds and maintains relationships with other University offices, departments and external stakeholders to represent programs and departments at various college outreach events.
- Develops and implements outreach programs, including marketing strategies and maintaining marketing material such as the website in order to promote programs and activities that are consistent with enrollment goals.
- Assists in student retention by developing and implementing retention strategies and mentoring to ensure successful completion of programs.
- Assesses enrollment and retention trends and results. Collaborates with the department to set goals and develop strategies to meet goals and objectives.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in related field from an accredited institution.
- One year’s relevant experience.
- Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to travel in-state and out-of-state.
- Ability to work irregular shifts and extended hours, including evenings and weekends.

- Experience with content creation and management;
- Professional writing, editing and publishing;
- Canva or other design applications;
- Social media outreach; and
- Public speaking.

Physical requirements and working conditions
- Office or other indoor work with minimal physical demands such as occasionally lifting or moving materials less than 25 pounds.
