We are seeking a highly skilled Heavy Equipment Operator I to join our team at Western Milling. This role involves operating heavy equipment, managing batch records, and ensuring efficient product handling.
Essential Duties:
- Operate Front Loaders and Forklifts: Safely load commercial trucks with agricultural products, adhering to company guidelines and maintaining quality control.
- Manage Batch Records: Document batch records accurately to maintain traceability and comply with company standards.
- Unload Rail Cars and Bulk Trailers: Unload products in an efficient and safe manner, minimizing waste and ensuring timely completion.
- Maintain Plant Operations: Monitor and adjust plant operations, identifying potential issues and implementing corrective actions to minimize downtime and optimize productivity.
Requirements:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience: Two years related experience preferred, with a focus on heavy equipment operation and maintenance.
- Physical Demands: Frequently lift/carry objects weighing up to 50 pounds, with occasional lifting/moving/pushing/pulling objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
