Are you passionate about using your lived experience to support others in their recovery journey? As a Certified Peer Support Specialist, you will provide emotional support, crisis intervention, and resource navigation to individuals experiencing mental health crises. This role is integral in assisting 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline Callers and Crisis Stabilization Facility clients by helping them connect with essential services and develop strategies for long-term stability.
In this dynamic position, you will conduct risk and needs assessments, assist in developing safety plans, and offer peer-based guidance to individuals in distress. You will also help facilitate referrals to mental health providers, housing resources, primary care, and substance use treatment, ensuring individuals successfully access and engage with these services. Additionally, you will provide transportation support as needed and participate in follow-up care to reinforce ongoing recovery efforts. Working collaboratively with 988 crisis teams, mental health professionals, and community partners, you will play a key role in improving crisis response and support services.

Minimum Qualifications:
- A High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Certified Behavioral Health Peer Support Specialist, or the ability to obtain certification within 90 days of hire.
- Ability to pass a background check upon offer of employment.
- Valid MT Driver’s license and a good driving record.
