Role Overview
The Mobility Electrical Manufacturing Lead will be responsible for all aspects of Electrical/ Electronic assembly as well as monitoring of product quality and output yields for the Mobility production floor. The Electrical Manufacturing Lead will assist the Production Supervisor in the ongoing training and development and accountability of all team members. This position is assigned to Western Shelter Mobility, a member of the Western Protective Solutions family located in Eugene, Oregon and will report to the Mobility Production Supervisor.
Responsibilities
- Directs and assigns work to employees within their specific area/line as needed to reach production goals.
- Review all Electrical designs and layouts and provide feedback to Engineering.
- Installation of conduit, wiring, and electrical components per engineering specifications.
- Wiring of low and high voltage lines and component assemblies up to and beyond Electrical code requirements.
- Setup and wiring of communication equipment.
- Operate and maintain Electrical test equipment.
- Conduct testing on Electrical and Electro-Mechanical systems and components.
- Perform proper bonding and grounding of high voltage panels and sub panels up to and beyond Electrical code requirements pertaining to a mobile installation.
- Interpret plans, drawings, sketches, and blueprints.
- Responsible for all aspects of Electrical safety, both in shop and to end user.
- Responsible for lock out of Electrical equipment and circuits when not in use.
- Establish, Implement and Document test procedures for all Electrical circuits, components and assemblies.
- Ensure that all required paperwork is present during the shift and is being completed and used according to appropriate SOPs.
- Installation of Generators will be performed up to and beyond A.N.S.I. requirements.
- Operate all shop equipment and tools as needed in a safe manner.
- Safely operate forklifts and scissor lifts.
- Keep the workplace clean, tidy and in good condition.
- Return all tools and equipment to their designated spot after each use.
- Regularly inspect, clean equipment, notify supervisor and/or facilities maintenance immediately of machines or equipment needing repair or maintenance, and take any damaged or worn tools out of service.
- Other duties as assigned.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift/ move up to 50 pounds of material without assistance. Ability to lift over 50 pounds with assistance from others
- Ability to sit, bend or stand for long periods of time
- Visual acuity to read instructions, operate machines, and inspect parts produced
- Ability to operate a variety of hand tools and machinery
- Manual dexterity required to work with both small and large parts
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Oregon Limited Maintenance Electrician (LME) license or currently in the process of obtaining
- Knowledge of trailers, RVs and container-based systems preferred
- Carpentry, mechanical, and manufacturing experience preferred
Qualifications
Salary : $27 - $35
