Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and motivated Residency Coordinator to oversee administrative support for our multiple residency and student training programs. This role involves managing scheduling, recruitment, compliance, and communication tasks, all aimed at ensuring an exceptional learning experience for residents and trainees.
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate and support residency and student training programs, assisting with logistics, documentation, and operations.
- Work with the Medical Education team to recruit and orient new trainees.
- Ensure full compliance with licensing agencies, institutional policies, and procedures.
- Collaborate with Program Directors and the Chief Learning Officer to develop and maintain rotation schedules and educational calendars.
- Maintain accurate personnel files and ensure seamless data management systems for the department.
- Assist with the marketing and promotion of the residency programs.
- Handle multiple projects while maintaining strong attention to detail and deadlines.
Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree required (or equivalent work experience).
- Experience: 2-3 years of experience in graduate medical education in a hospital or related educational setting preferred.
- Skills & Competencies:
- Strong computer literacy (including proficiency in Word processing, internet/intranet, email, and report creation).
- Exceptional organization and planning skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and projects simultaneously.
- Ability to work with various types of computer equipment and software programs.
- Strong telephone communication skills.
