What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residency Program Coordinator (32 Hours) position at Western Reserve Hospital?
Coordinates assigned resident and student training programs. Provides administrative support for multiple residency programs, assists in marketing of programs. Recruits and orients new trainees in conjunction with Medical Education team. Oversees compliance with licensing agencies and ensures full compliance with institutional policies and procedures. Works with program directors and Chief Learning Officer to develop and maintain rotation schedules and educational calendars. Maintains department personnel files and data management systems.
Education and Training
Bachelor’s required. Experience may be substituted for education requirement.
Experience
- Two (2) to three (3) years of related experience in graduate medical education in a hospital or related educational setting preferred.
Other Skills, Competencies and Qualifications
- Excellent computer literacy (word processing, intranet/internet, email, report creation, charts and graphs).
- Excellent organization and planning abilities.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and prioritize work.
