Licenced Practical Nurse

Professional Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) who provides comprehensive care coordination for an Oral Surgical Practice. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is looking to join a supportive team and willing to learn new skills.

· Nursing: 1 year

· BLS Certification

· LPN with IV certification / experience

· Monitor patient’s condition and assess their needs to provide the best possible care and advice

· Observe and interpret patient’s symptoms and communicate them to physicians

· Perform routine procedures (blood pressure measurements, administering injections etc.) and fill in patients’ charts

· Adjust and administer patient’s medication and provide treatments according to physician’s orders

· Provide instant medical care in emergencies

· Assist surgeons during operations

· Foster a supportive and compassionate environment to care for patients and their families

· Expand knowledge and capabilities by attending educational workshops, conferences etc.

· Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.

· Current Ohio license as a LPN

· Possess the ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities while contributing to team environment.

· Possess the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with patients, families, physicians, and employees.

· Is a team player.

· Have excellent communication skills.

· Can adapt to change

· Can critically think and problem solve for patients’ best interests.

Office hours are M, T, TH, F 8:30 – 5:00 p.m. No nights or weekends. Paid Holidays, Personal Days, Medical Insurance and 401(k),

Pay: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour
