What are the responsibilities and job description for the Shop Foreman (Afternoons) position at Western Reserve Transit Authority?
Provides direct supervision of mechanics and service personnel. Assigns, prioritizes, and supervises all work functions and job assignments. Assures timely repairs of vehicles and adherence to preventative maintenance schedule. Will be responsible for parts purchasing and inventory control. Mechanical knowledge required. Supervisory experience preferred. Must possess CDL w/ Passenger and Air Brake endorsement or will train. Will work flexible afternoon schedule between Monday - Saturday. Pay into Public Employment Retirement System of Ohio instead of Social Security.
