What are the responsibilities and job description for the LPN, PRN, Variable Day Shift Hours - Stow Urgent Care & Occupational Medicine position at Western Reserve?
Assists in providing and coordinating nursing care and managing resources in the delivery of care for patients, the family of patients and the community, with the goal of attaining, maintaining and restoring optimum health. Communicates with Registered Nurse and care team to assist with clinical planning and care of patients.
Education and Training
- Graduate of a school of practical nursing and current license to practice practical nursing in the State of Ohio.
- Authorized by the State of Ohio Board of Nursing to perform intravenous therapy procedures and administer medicines. Note, some ancillary and/or physician office sites may not require IV therapy authorization.
- BLS required within 30 days of hire.
Experience
- Per diem LPN’s must have at least one (1) year recent experience in the area of practice.
- Experience in Urgent/Occupational Medicine settings preferred for Stow Urgent & Primary Care Center LPN positions
