Position Available:
- (Part time position) 2/3rds of a full time position as middle school Art teacher. The position is 7:25am to 12:15pm daily. Teacher is responsible for delivering the Art curriculum to grades 6th - 8th.
Qualifications:
- A valid Michigan Teaching Certificate
- An endorsement in Art Education or Visual Arts Education (LX or LQ)
Additional Expectations:
- Ability to connect with middle school students
- Actively participate in a PLC
- Have specific subject area knowledge
- Communicate with students, families, staff, etc. on a regular basis
- Excellent communication, public relations and interpersonal skills
- Strong ability to problem-solve and seek creative solutions
Starting Date:
- August 18, 2025: Start of the 2025-26 school year.
