Western Slope Suites is looking for an outstanding full-time Guest Service Representative to join our team! Our Guest Service Representatives are hands-on, team-oriented professionals with high standards and are driven to exceed our guest’s expectations on a daily basis.
We are seeking an outgoing, professional, and energetic Guest Service Representative to be the first person who greets our guests when they arrive at our hotel.
This position is responsible for supervising front office operations, responding to and resolving guest complaints and concerns, operating systems for reservations, guest check-in/out in accordance with our Company values for quality, cleanliness, guest satisfaction, and safety and security.
Other key duties include, but are not limited to:
- Maintain good guest relations by keeping abreast of all in-house and area functions in order to answer questions and concerns with timely and knowledgeable responses in person and on the phone.
- Provide guests with room and hotel information, directions, amenities and local interests.
- Organize, confirm and process guest check-ins/ check-outs and adapt for any changes.
- Secure payment, verifying and adjusting billing as needed
- Send and receive telephone calls and facsimiles; sort incoming mail and messages
- Run daily reports, reviewing to see what needs to be communicated to the next shift’s staff.
- Contribute to and maintain established information and communication sources such as department and front desk logbooks in order to enhance department communications and operations.
Qualifications
Minimum Experience, Skill & Physical Requirements:
- Prior hotel experience preferred.
- Must be flexible in hours, days and shifts worked
- Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
- Must have sound judgment and discretional skills and be able to work with little supervision
