What are the responsibilities and job description for the Program Associate position at Western South Dakota Community Action?
Overview
Interested in helping your community? Work with Community Action to help recruit volunteers and provide education and assistance for older adults for their Medicare programs. Insurance and fraud prevention programs, available at no charge and with no affiliation with private companies. The position is based in Pierre, with travel throughout our central South Dakota coverage area to help recruit and train volunteers and assist seniors with presentations and individual counseling.
Qualifications
- Experience with public presentations
- Experience working with older adults
- Strong data management skills
- Ability to learn and communicate insurance plan information and options to clients
- Ability to provide a secure environment to share sensitive client information.
- Experience working with and training volunteers.
- Ability to work with diverse audiences.
- Valid driver's license, clean driving record for the past three years and reliable vehicle (mileage reimbursement provided)

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
