Job Description:
We are looking to hire an Outside Sales Account Manager to manage and grow sales for Eastern Idaho. This is a technical sales role and familiarity with (or ability to quickly learn) the products will be vital to success in this role. This position does require travel to visit customers (typically 4 days/week), however this is generally day trips and the compensation associated with this position is competitive with the market and will be decided during the interview process based on skills and experience. This role encompasses a base salary and commission within the territory. This is a remote position from the company HQ with the person working from a home office and servicing accounts in the Eastern Idaho area.
RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain and grow relationships with customers within key accounts
• Use a consultative approach to understand a prospects challenges and pain points, and work with the technical team to develop a solution
• Works with clients to deliver sales presentations and close deals
• Responsible for new business development to organically grow the territory
• Increase market share in designated territory distribution by 50% in the next 3 years
• Build rapport and open doors with new clients
• Establish relationships with target prospects and secure business with new customers that achieve assigned sales targets
• Drive the entire sales cycle from initial customer engagement to closed sale
• Prospect for potential customers using various direct methods such as calling and face-to-face meetings, and indirect methods such as networking
• Qualify prospects against company criteria for ideal customers and sales
• Consult with prospects about business challenges and requirements, as well as the range of options and cost benefits of each
• Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects
• Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
• Make presentations to senior managers and decision makers
• Keep detailed notes on prospect and customer interactions
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
