We are seeking a SCIP Program Manager for our agency in Isle of Wight.

- Responsible for daily management of components of the School Counseling Intervention Program to ensure continuity and coordination of services.
- Determine eligibility or appropriateness for consumers referred for Therapeutic Day Treatment Services.
- Conduct training with staff under the purview of the Clinical Supervisor
- Monitor consumer’s motivation to comply with medication maintenance.
- Attend Family Assessment Planning Team (FAPT) to present information on consumer status, review cases, and to market for new Therapeutic Day Treatment cases.
- Develop and maintain ongoing rapport with the attending Child Psychiatrist and child and family services agencies.
- Provide mental health consultation to professional and paraprofessional workers of other agencies.
- Assist in writing grants, proposals, or program descriptions.
- Adhere to rules and regulations related to consumer rights and maintain confidentiality of consumer records.
- Review documentation and maintain records to ensure compliance with Medicaid, Licensure and fiscal guidelines to insure reimbursement from third party payers.
- Conduct Quality Assurance Reviews of staff records.
- Review and approve adequacy of coverage for staff prior to submitting leave requests to the Program Coordinator for final approval.
- Provide continued coverage when staff is on leave and coordinate between sites to ensure adequate coverage.
- Conduct monthly meetings for staffing with clinicians and behavior specialists.
- Assist behavior specialists in developing treatment goals.
- Attend scheduled meetings with site-based school administrators.
- Provide administrative support to Coordinators of Special Education, Principals, Guidance Counselors, and Teachers.
- Attend the State-Level Day Treatment Coalition meetings.
- Perform ongoing Public Relations for marketing of services in the community.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related Human Services field.
- One year of clinical experience in a mental health/substance abuse facility or similar setting.
- One year experience in a senior clinician role in a mental health or substance abuse setting and/or demonstrated leadership in these areas.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable DMV record at the time of employment and continuously, thereafter.
- Availability of personal transportation for on-the-job use as required by the Coordinator.
