Position Summary
Western Towers is seeking a motivated and results-driven B2B Account Manager to join our team. The Account Manager will play a key role in fostering long-term customer relationships, driving revenue growth, and providing tailored solutions for our clients in the telecommunications, broadcast, and infrastructure sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Account Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for B2B clients, ensuring their needs are met with Western Towers' superior products and services.
- Develop strong relationships with clients, ensuring satisfaction and long-term loyalty.
- Provide expert consultation on product solutions, guiding clients through technical specifications, design options, and installation requirements.
- Bid Preparation & Analysis
- Negotiate contracts, pricing, and delivery schedules to align with client needs and company goals.
- Compile costs from various departments, including engineering, manufacturing, installation and logistics, to create accurate and competitive bids. Collaborate with upper management to review and finalize bid submissions for clients and large-scale projects.
- Extract and analyze detailed requirements from RFQs and client communications to ensure all details are accounted for and bid requirements are satisfied.
- Sales & Revenue Growth:
- Develop and implement account strategies to achieve sales targets and company growth objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within existing accounts and generate leads for new clients.
- Client Communication:
- Maintain consistent and professional communication with clients, ensuring they are informed of project progress, timelines, and delivery updates.
- Address and resolve customer concerns promptly, reinforcing Western Towers' reputation for exceptional service.
- Market Analysis & Strategy:
- Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitor activities to position Western Towers as a market leader.
- Provide feedback to the engineering and product teams to refine offerings based on customer input.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Work closely with Western Towers' engineering, manufacturing, and logistics teams to ensure timely and successful project execution.
- Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to enhance brand visibility and expand the client base.
- Reporting & Metrics:
- Utilize CRM tools to track sales activities, client interactions, and account progress.
- Prepare reports on account performance, sales forecasts, and market trends for internal review.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 1 years of experience in B2B account management or sales, preferably in the telecommunications or infrastructure manufacturing sectors.
- Proven ability to meet or exceed sales targets and manage complex accounts.
- Strong technical aptitude, with the ability to understand and communicate technical specifications effectively.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel as needed to meet with clients and attend industry events.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in communication tower manufacturing or related infrastructure products.
- Knowledge of telecommunications and broadcast industry standards and regulations.
- MBA or equivalent advanced degree.
