Window and Door Repair Tech

Western Window is a local, family owned, well established company in Nampa next to I-84 looking for a dependable person for a Field Service Technician to service and repair windows and doors.

Openings:

FIELD SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Qualifications:

• Must be able to read tape measure.
• Must be able to perform job duties in non-climatized areas.
• Must be punctual and have reliable transportation.
• Minimum of two years proven success in a service role in building products; working through a distributor, dealer and/or builder servicing homeowners.
• Strong problem solving and negotiation skills
• Attention to detail.
• Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills. Multi-lingual is a plus.
• Possess a working knowledge of construction techniques and practices. Ability to read architectural blueprints and fabrication drawings is a plus.
• Must provide and maintain a clean driving record

Job Details:

• Effectively collaborating as part of a team in their efforts to support and service warranty service calls, while professionally representing Western-Window.
• Exhibit a professional appearance, cleanliness and attitude while engaging with all parties to a warranty claim.
• Perform repairs and replacements in a professional manner and complete work in an expedient time frame and secure approval from the homeowner or builder.
• Complete all service repair documents in a clean and clear method
• Must be able to call to communicate with our dealers, home owners and builders to schedule service times or reschedule service times.
• Keep warranty parts / area clean and organized daily.
• Responsible for reviewing all parts and ensuring that you have all of the components prior to leaving the facility
• At the Company’s discretion, work on the production line when there is insufficient work to keep you busy on service in the field.
• Overnight travel may be required.
