About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Quality Re-Inspection Operator to join our team at WesternScott Fetzer. As a key member of our production team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality products are delivered to our customers. This position requires strong attention to detail, effective communication skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
* Operate multiple spindle lathe type screw machines to machine metal bar stock.* Use shop packages to include manufacturing orders, bills of materials, routings, part prints, job layouts, and quality alerts.* Ensure all gages and tools used are within calibration dates.* Set up and operate multiple machines simultaneously as required by the routing.* Sort and rework non-conforming parts as required.* Participate in SQCD Board meetings as scheduled.* Perform quality checks per WEOP0855 and associated Inspection Record (QF08120).* Maintain accurate records of production and quality control activities.* Request raw materials in a timely manner and maintain accuracy of all inventory procedures.
Requirements:
* High School Education or equivalent, with a minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role.* Ability to read and comprehend complex instructions, short correspondence, memos, and blueprints.* Basic computer knowledge and ability to perform simple math calculations.
