Shipping & Receiving Transfer Clerk

***These positions will be working a 12 hour, 3-2-2 rotating shift. The hours are from 12noon to 12midnight.***
We are currently seeking an Transfer Clerk with the below qualifications:
Professional Attributes
- Movement & preparation of all materials and finished product for transfer
- Prepare finished product for warehouse
- Housekeeping and organization of facility
- Recordkeeping as required (BOL,Pic List)
- Operate all material handling equipment
- Operate hand scanners to move all product
- Maintain and improve a safe working environment
- Backup Material handler and Shipping & Receiving when needed
- Understand each product and how it's loaded onto a trailer
- Other duties as assigned
Desired Skills and Experience
- High school diploma or GED
- Forklift experience preferred
- Must always use correct Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) for the job
- Minimum 1 year of shipping experience preferred
- All other duties as assigned by Supervisor Must have good vision and hearing
- Must be able to lift 55-60 lbs. at continuous intervals throughout the day
- Must have normal dexterity
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time
- Requires frequent bending, squatting and twisting motions; ability to climb ladders
- Ability to pull finished product and 1000 lb. gaylords of material using pallet jack
- Maintain clean & safe work area clear of obstacles and/or scrap product, tools, etc
