Job Summary:

Westfield Outdoors is seeking an experienced Accounting Manager to oversee all financial and accounting operations, including general ledger management, financial reporting, budgeting, compliance, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and capable of leading a small team while maintaining accurate and timely financial records. Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required to effectively communicate with overseas accounting teams and technical support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all accounting functions, including general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and payroll.
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, budgets, and cash flow projections to provide accurate and timely financial reporting.
• Develop, implement, and enforce accounting policies, procedures, and internal controls to ensure compliance with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
• Manage the month-end and year-end close process, ensuring accuracy and completeness of financial data.
• Supervise and develop accounting staff, providing mentorship, training, and performance management.
• Collaborate with leadership to support strategic planning, cost management, and financial decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with tax regulations, financial audits, and reporting requirements.
• Prepare data packages with a high level of accuracy for tax return filings handled by a third-party CPA firm.
• Maintain banking relationships, manage cash flow, and oversee treasury functions.
• Work closely with external auditors, tax professionals, and financial advisors as needed.
• Support executive management with financial insights, forecasting, and reporting.
• Coordinate with overseas teams, including accounting and ERP (NetSuite) support, requiring clear and effective communication in Mandarin Chinese.

Qualifications & Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 7 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3 years in a leadership role.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial reporting, and accounting principles.
• Experience in manufacturing, wholesale, or consumer goods industries is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
• Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership and team-building capabilities.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally with other departments.
• Fluency in Mandarin Chinese is required to liaise with international teams.

Salary & Benefits:

• Salary Range: $60,000 – $80,000 (based on experience and qualifications)
