Job Summary
As a clinic medical assistant at Westfields Hospital & Clinic, you will be responsible for various patient care duties and other related tasks in the clinical setting. These include documenting medical information, administering medications/vaccinations and treatments, and obtaining medical histories and vital signs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist healthcare providers in delivering services per physician/RN direction and according to Clinic policies and procedures.
- Support the short- and long-term mission, vision, goals, and objectives of Westfields Hospital & Clinic.
Work Schedule:
.8 FTE/32 hours per week with varying hours Monday through Thursday (7AM-7PM), Friday (7am-5pm), and occasional Saturdays (8am-12pm).
Qualifications:
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma/equivalent.
- Graduate of an accredited Medical Assistant program or current LPN licensure in the State of Wisconsin.
- Current CPR certification required within 6 months of hire and maintained while employed.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in EPIC computer system.
