Vernon based Community Management company seeks a part time Office Assistant. This employee will be responsible for distributing incoming mail to appropriate team members and may be assigned additional supportive tasks based upon interest and availability. Employee must be available to commit to working in office, 5 days a week (Monday through Friday) between the hours of 9:00am - 5:00pm for 2-3 hours per day, depending on the volume of mail received each day. Coverage can be provided for occasional absences due to illness or vacation/time off.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Open, sort and organize all incoming mail received by USPS.
- Scan mail to create PDF versions of contents.
- Attach PDFs to email and attach/send to appropriate team members accordingly.
- Process returned mail (submit notice to recipient requesting address update, note customer profile).
- Other administrative tasks may be assigned based on employee interest and availability.
Skills Required:
- Great attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Windows.
- Knowledge of Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Must be a quick study in computer-based programs (training to be provided).
- Organizational skills a must.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.35 - $17.35 per hour
Expected hours: 10 – 20 per week
