What are the responsibilities and job description for the Pool Manager and Lifeguard position at Westgate Pool?
We are seeking an experienced and innovative Pool Manager to oversee our facility. We are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented individual with a strong background in water treatment. Your responsibilities will include water quality control and the implementation of procedures that ensure the safety of both our customers and employees. You must have a passion for customer service and a desire to constantly improve your pool management strategies. Candidates must also have experience with both beginning and advanced swimming techniques, as well as swimming lessons.
Responsibilities:
- Administer a pool.
- Perform basic maintenance on swimming pools.
- Supervise pool attendants.
- Train pool attendants and lifeguards in safety regulations.
- Keep the pool clean, safe, and inviting.
- Must be available to work at least 2 holiday shifts (Memorial Day, 4th of July, and Labor Day)
Qualifications
- Certification in CPR and First Aid (must be active for first shift ,if hired)
- Pool Operator's License (must be active before first shift, if hired)
- Proven swimming skills and lifeguard experience
- Ability to perform pool maintenance and cleaning
- Strong guest service skills
- Capability to handle heavy lifting tasks
- Knowledge of safety protocols and emergency response procedures
Job Types: Part-time, Seasonal
Pay: From $16.50 per hour
Expected hours: 15 – 25 per week
