Westhill Dental is looking for a confident, motivated ad friendly Treatment Coordinator to join our growing team! Our private practice is unique in that we offer most dental services under one roof instead of referring patients to other offices. We utilize state of the art technologies and deliver advanced services such as IV moderate sedation, General Anesthesia sedation, same day "All on X Implant retained dentures", 3D printed denture prosthetics, and sleep apnea appliances. We also offer orthodontics, endodontics, and many oral surgery procedures. We are excited to move into our brand new building this Spring!
General Description of Position: Treatment Coordinators are responsible for greeting patients, scheduling appointments, obtaining insurance information and payment, and most importantly - presenting treatment plans.
Major Areas of Responsibility:
- Check patients out after their appointment, including accurately scheduling follow-up appointments, estimating & collecting copays, presenting treatment plans and filing insurance claims
- Acquire and verify insurance information from patients and insurance companies
- Answering phone calls including scheduling appointments and other patient communication
- Reports directly to the Doctor and Business Manager.
Specific Responsibilities of the Job:
Review scheduled treatment for the day including determining copays, previous balances and amount due Proper phone etiquette with a positive, upbeat attitude (Smile in your voice);
- Ability to understand and explain treatment, present treatment plans to patients and review financial arrangements
- Maintain accurate, complete patient accounts including scanning in information as needed
- Utilize Patient communication software to maintain timely communication with patients
- Communicate with patient's medical Dr to coordinate treatment
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Sales experience a major plus. Knowledge of Eaglesoft or Open Dental software, Patient communication, Imaging and Microsoft Office software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks with ease with good time management, efficiency, and accuracy
- Ability to maintain effective communication with all team members and a professional, upbeat demeanor
- Interpret and understand dental insurance and be able to explain coverage to patients
- Maintain scheduled work hours; be punctual and flexible to accommodate team members’ vacations, emergencies, etc.
- Demonstrate an eagerness to learn and grow in the office/complete any continuing education as needed or requested
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $25.00 - $45.00 per hour
Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
