Metropolitan Cleveland’s fastest-growing music school is looking for a part-time front desk team member (25 hours per week).
If you love working with people, are a quick learner, and take pride in doing a great job, this position is for you! Starting wage: $23/hour, with pay increases as the school meets enrollment goals. Includes 50 hours of paid time off annually.
Requirements:
- Must have reliable transportation.
- Schedule is primarily weekday evenings (Monday - Friday).
Suggested Schedule:
- Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 4:15 - 9:15 P.M.
- Wednesday: 10:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
- Friday: 3:15 - 8:15 P.M.
This is the proposed schedule; it is not set in stone. We have some flexibility in determining hours, but after that, it should generally remain consistent from week to week. Additional hours may be available for special events.
Job Duties:
- Scheduling new students, adjusting current student schedules, and coordinating makeup lessons.
- Managing student and teacher cancellations, including scheduling substitute teachers.
- Providing warm and professional customer service—many students and parents are on a first-name basis with us!
- Communicating efficiently with music teachers and office staff.
- Monitoring and responding to emails, texts, phone calls, and auto-text messages.
- Answering phones: We’re looking for someone with a clear, professional, and friendly phone presence.
- Confidently speaking to prospective students and parents about the school.
- Data entry, including maintaining student and teacher records in databases and spreadsheets.
- Following up with prospective, current, and former students via email and phone.
- Some filing and light cleaning (a professional cleaning service handles most cleaning tasks).
- Running errands, such as purchasing supplies and restocking essentials.

- Self-Starter – Takes initiative and works independently on projects.
- Calm & Problem-Solving Oriented – Handles challenges with composure and professionalism.
