Westlake Tool & Die, a top manufacturer in the metal stamping industry, offers a comprehensive, full-service approach to metal stamping. With our team of experts, we provide personalized solutions using our extensive in-house capabilities of stamping, prototyping, CNC machining, robotic welding, and assembly services to deliver fast, impactful results to our customers in industries such as food processing, HVAC, plumbing, and the oil & gas industry.
We are currently seeking a full time Shipping/ Warehouse Associate to complete daily warehouse activities in support of company objectives for safety, quality, productivity, and cost. This position will assist with the preparation of customer/vendor orders, including packaging and palletizing while working in a safe and efficient manner.
We are looking for full-time candidates for this position.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, package, and seal boxes of finished goods and wrap skids for shipment to customers and vendors
- Make and label boxes, check weights using a scale, and verify part numbers for accuracy
- Work with team members to complete shipping and warehouse processes
- Collaborate with other departments to understand and meet quality and delivery objectives
- Comply with company policies and safe work practices
- Maintain safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
Skills:
- Must be able to lift, place, and move parts that weigh 20lbs or more
- Possess a drive for achieving production requirements while focused on quality and safety
- Work as a team member sharing duties and assisting others when needed
- Forklift knowledge is helpful, but we will train
