Westland A Villa Center is seeking an Assistant Administrator to join their team! The Assistant Administrator assists the Administrator of the facility with overall facility management, profitability, patient care and business decisions in all aspects related to operations. As an Assistant Administrator, you will understand the clinical and business aspects of running a long-term care nursing facility.
Assistant Administrator Duties and Responsibilities :
- Assists the Administrator with managing the day-to-day operations of the facility and keeps the organization on track for its long-term goals and assigned budgets.
- Assists in development of facility annual budget, managing the day-to-day operations of the facility, and keeping the organization on track for its long-term goals and assigned budgets.
- Assists with census development, management of accounts receivable and collections, maximization of Net Operating Income, resident / patient care, state and federal survey compliance, positive employee relations, low employee turnover, a positive return on investment, an effective business plan and implementation of core programs.
- Completes rounds of entire facility premises at least daily to ensure compliance with all policies, procedures, and regulations.
- Ensures facility operates in compliance with all local, state, and federal regulations.
- Assists with the placement of prospective residents to ensure that residents’ physical, mental and psychosocial needs are met by the facility and who meet the financial requirements.
- Knows Resident Rights. Help the residents / patients exercise and / or protect their rights.
- Investigates resident / patient complaints.
- All other duties, as assigned.
