This role involves frontend database administration, core system support, troubleshooting, online banking platform and collaborating with departments to enhance processes and technologies. The position requires a proactive approach to solving complex problems, supporting operational needs, and driving technological improvements within the organization.
Schedule : Approximately 40 hours within a Monday through Friday work week
Travel Requirements : Occasional travel for support at company locations
Responsibilities
Analyze, install, configure, upgrade, document, monitor, and maintain core banking systems and software to meet organizational requirements.Perform frontend database administration and core system functions to ensure system reliability and availability.Provide technical support for unresolved IT Helpdesk issues and assist in evaluating system and integration problems to find root causes.Support core banking systems, online banking platform and related applications, including processing and implementing change requests as assigned.Prepare written and oral reports, documentation, and summaries for various systems, software, and activities.Automate processes and recommend system enhancements to improve efficiency.Monitor system health and performance, including query optimization and performance tuning.Serve as a backup for the Core Systems Analyst and participate in disaster recovery and incident management processes.Collaborate with departments to understand business needs and deliver technical solutions, including systems analysis and reporting improvements.Perform all other responsibilities assigned by the VP of Core Systems.Requirements : Qualifications
Education and Experience :Minimum of 3 years’ experience in computer systems and analysis.Degree in MIS, Computer Science, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.Experience with core banking systems and multi-server environments.Technical Skills :
Proficiency in SQL Server database management and related tools as needed.Knowledge of database architecture, operating systems, and lifecycle management.Familiarity with disaster recovery and incident management processes.Ability to automate processes and improve core system efficiency.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Other Requirements :
Valid Driver’s License.Willingness to work weekends or after hours as needed.Key Competencies
