Position Summary: Under general supervision, responds to incoming calls and performs essential administrative and secretarial duties for the Real Estate department. Responsibilities include running monthly PMI updates and terminations, tracking monthly flood insurance, and preparing escrow analysis letters and adjustments. Provides clear explanations and education to members regarding changes to their escrow accounts, ensuring member concerns are diffused and resolved effectively. Ensures all tasks are completed with professionalism and attention to detail.
Schedule: 40 hours within a Monday through Friday work week
Remote/Hybrid: Not Remote/Hybrid eligible
Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming phone calls and direct them to the appropriate employees in the Real Estate department.
- Greet and direct members as they enter the Real Estate Department.
- Schedule appointments for Real Estate Loan Officers.
- Track branch referrals and forward results to the FSI Specialist monthly.
- Assign branch referrals to designated Real Estate Loan Officers.
- Order supplies for the department.
- Assemble closed loan files, including tracking down deeds and final title policies, and forward completed files to CLP for review.
- Quote mortgage payoffs and post mortgage payments.
- Prepare and send escrow analysis letters notifying members of changes to their escrow accounts.
- Explain and educate members about changes to their escrow accounts.
- Run monthly PMI updates and terminations.
- Run monthly flood updates.
- Cross-train in all aspects of mortgage servicing.
- Act as a backup to the Mortgage Servicer when needed.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Real Estate Department Assistant Manager & the Senior VP of Real Estate Lending.
Qualifications:
- Excellent oral communication skills.
- Ability to use the department’s phone system.
- Knowledge of property taxes, insurance, and PMI requirements related to escrow accounts.
- Familiarity with the department’s workflow, from application to funding to servicing.
- Proficient in using personal computers and word processing software.
- High school diploma or equivalent.

Physical Requirements:

- Repetitive motion using wrists, hands, and fingers.
- Occasionally lift and carry up to 15 lbs., if required for departmental tasks.
