Title: Filler Operator

Position Type: Full-Time
Average Hours: 40-45hours/week

This position is for 4, 10 hour shifts per week, with some flexibility needed for running later in the evening.

Planned shift is Monday - Thursday, occasionally the Thursday shift is moved to Friday instead.

Shift runs from 7AM to 5:30PM with a 30 minute unpaid lunch break at shift supervisors' discretion, around noon.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Setup, operate and clean liquid milk fillers. Duties involve bottle feeding, filler management (clearing jammed bottles or caps etc.), filling cases, stacking pallets and bringing them to the cooler.
• Other duties include changing labels, adjusting the machine between product changeovers, full assembly and disassembly of the filler, including full breakdown at the end of the day.
• Ensure all work ensures on-time and quality delivery of products.
• Closely adhere to inventory procedures and food safe product handling guidelines to minimize losses and enable timely detection of product quality issues.
• Identifies and rectifies hazards, ensuring proper ergonomics and maintaining plant equipment in proper working order.
• Maintains plant cleanliness standards at all times.
• Other duties as assigned.

Education and Experience:

• A minimum of 1 year of experience in plant / production operations

Physical Demands:

• Regularly required to sit, stand, bend, reach, push, pull, lift, carry, and walk about the plant.
