Recreation Aide – Assisted Living & Nursing Care

Key Responsibilities:
- Implement personalized recreational programs to support residents’ physical, social, emotional, spiritual, and cognitive needs.
- Lead and direct activities for residents in assisted living, memory care, and the health care center.
- Document participation and provide feedback to improve programs and services.
- Assist residents with mobility during activities, including helping with walkers, wheelchairs, and boarding/offboarding buses.
- Set up and organize activity spaces, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
- Operate computers and communicate effectively to support department operations.
What We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Previous experience in health care, long-term care, or senior living is preferred but not required.
- Skills: Strong communication abilities (verbal and written) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Qualities: Compassionate, team-oriented, and eager to learn and grow professionally.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to move furniture, assist with resident mobility, and navigate stairs across our health care center.
