What You'll Do as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Westminster-Canterbury on Chesapeake Bay:

Drive a Positive Candidate Experience: From the first interaction to onboarding, you will create an engaging, seamless experience for candidates, ensuring they feel valued throughout the recruitment journey.

Manage Recruitment Process: Oversee the entire recruitment lifecycle, using our ATS system to maintain strong candidate engagement and provide clear, consistent communication from application to hire.

Build Strong Relationships: Develop and nurture lasting relationships with hiring managers, department leaders, and candidates to foster a collaborative and transparent hiring process.

Source Top Talent: Design and execute creative recruitment strategies to attract diverse, highly qualified candidates through job boards, social media, career fairs, educational partnerships, and networking.

Leverage Social Media & Online Platforms: Utilize social media channels and modern recruitment tools to build a strong employer brand, engage passive candidates, and maintain a strong pipeline for future hiring needs.

Innovate with Recruitment Programs: Lead the development and execution of innovative recruitment campaigns, attending job fairs and hosting virtual recruitment events to connect with top talent.

Champion Compliance and Best Practices: Ensure all recruitment activities comply with EEO and Department of Labor regulations, with timely reporting and adherence to employment laws.

Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with leadership and key stakeholders to understand staffing needs, craft recruitment strategies, and recommend competitive salary offers to attract top talent.

Drive Retention: Focus not only on attracting the best candidates but also on contributing to a positive employee experience, ensuring successful long-term placements.

Foster Diversity & Inclusion: Advocate for diversity in recruitment strategies, ensuring a wide range of candidates are considered for each role to help foster an inclusive workplace.

Track and Improve Recruitment Metrics: Develop insights through KPIs like time-to-hire, job satisfaction, and retention to constantly refine strategies and improve hiring processes.

Support New Hire Integration: Lead dynamic, engaging onboarding and orientation sessions to ensure new hires feel welcomed, informed, and prepared to thrive in their roles.
What We're Looking For:

Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or a related field is strongly preferred. Equivalent experience in lieu of a degree may be considered.

Experience: At least two years of experience as a Recruiter or Talent Acquisition Specialist. Healthcare recruitment experience is a plus.

Recruitment Expertise: Proven experience in social media recruiting and talent sourcing through various online platforms to attract diverse and qualified candidates.

ATS Proficiency: Strong experience managing and utilizing an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to streamline the recruitment process and maintain candidate engagement. UKG experience preferred.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps, with the ability to manage and report on recruitment metrics effectively.
