The Major Gift Officer will play a key role in helping Westminster College exceed fundraising goals by identifying, cultivating, and soliciting major donor gifts from high-level donors. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented fundraiser to join our team and contribute to the college's mission.
Responsibilities:
* Identify and cultivate major donor prospects.* Develop and implement solicitation strategies to meet fundraising goals.* Personally solicit and steward donors to secure gifts.* Collaborate with the development team to identify new funding opportunities.* Provide excellent customer service to donors and stakeholders.* Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in fundraising.
Requirements:
* A degree in a relevant field (e.g., business, communications, nonprofit management).* Proven experience in fundraising or a related field.* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.* Familiarity with donor relationship management software.
