Part Time Clinical Director for Residential Addiction Treatment

Position Summary: The Part-Time Clinical Director will provide clinical supervision to program managers and therapists, ensuring the delivery of high-quality care. This role will focus on the strategic direction of clinical programs and will be responsible for guiding their effectiveness and alignment with organizational goals. Reporting to the Chief Health Officer (CHO), the Clinical Director will take a leadership role in setting and achieving program outcomes, emphasizing strategic oversight.
Key Responsibilities:
Clinical Leadership:
- Provide clinical supervision to program managers, therapists, and clinical interns.
- Oversee the development and implementation of clinical and program policies, ensuring adherence to best and evidence-based practices.
- Ensure continued accreditation and compliance with CARF behavioral health standards, COMAR, and ASAM guidelines.
- Lead strategic planning for clinical services, promoting data-driven decision-making.
- Conduct and document regular clinical team meetings to enhance team effectiveness.
Program Development and Oversight:
- Guide the strategic vision for WRM’s clinical programs, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
- Monitor program outcomes, using data to inform improvements and ensure client needs are met.
- Develop and oversee clinically related grant-funded programs, collaborating with grants staff.
- Prioritize cultural competency and health equity in clinical programming, fostering a productive and diverse team.
Training and Professional Development:
- Conduct professional development and staff training in evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Motivational Interviewing.
- Provide mentorship to clinical staff and interns, building team capacity and skills.
Administrative Oversight:
- Ensure quality of clinical documentation, including the maintenance and performance of electronic health records.
- Oversee hiring, performance evaluations, and staff development in collaboration with the CHO.
- Collaborate with administrative staff on reporting and clinical program development.
- Provide crisis support and resolve conflicts promptly.
- Position requires on-call coverage as needed
Physical Requirements
- Ability to perform tasks involving standing, sitting, bending, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
Qualifications:
- Master’s or Doctorate degree in a clinical field (e.g., Social Work, Counseling, Psychology).
- Licensed as an LCSW-C, LCPC, or equivalent clinical licensure in Maryland; LCADC preferred.
- Minimum of 7 years of clinical experience, including leadership and supervisory roles.
- Knowledge of CARF, COMAR, and ASAM standards.
- Proven ability to lead strategic initiatives and evaluate program outcomes.
- Strong communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills.

Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand, sit, type, bend, and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Flexibility to work a non-traditional schedule as needed.
