Nursing Enrollment Coordinator

POSITION SUMMARY :
The Nursing Enrollment Coordinator is a member of Westminster University’s Enrollment Management division. This position reports directly to the Senior Associate Director of Adult Learning and Graduate Admissions and supports the Enrollment Management division, School of Nursing and Health Sciences, and campus partners.
Enrollment Management is a collaborative team committed to providing and supporting services that attract, enroll, and retain students. The Enrollment Management division seeks to offer a student-centered, service-focused, and innovative enrollment experience that supports the university’s strategic priorities. As part of these efforts, the Nursing Enrollment Coordinator manages recruitment strategies and initiatives specific to the enrollment of undergraduate and graduate students to Westminster University’s nursing programs. This position collaborates in the development, execution, and assessment of the team's strategic enrollment plans.
Success in this role requires a high degree of interpersonal interaction, as well as self-directed autonomous work period it is required that the employee be on campus, in-person, but occasional remote work is possible.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :
Nursing Student Recruitment
- Effectively communicate Westminster's mission and values to prospective nursing students, including the benefits of a professional education within a liberal arts setting.
- Foster personalized relationships by providing a student centered and service focused admissions experience.
- Develop targeted or individualized communication plans that assist students through admissions process utilizing phone calls, text messages, email campaigns, printed materials, and other available resources.
- Lead group information sessions, open houses, and meet one-on-one with prospective students and families both on and off campus, virtually and in person.
- Collaborate with the undergraduate and graduate admission teams to support prospective and current students applying to the School of Nursing and Health Sciences.
- Assist students through the application process and in academic pre-advisingto align with up-to-date program requirements and / or prerequisites.
- Collaborate with faculty and staff in the School of Nursing and Health Sciences on outreach and recruitment strategies.
- Review completed nursing applications and support program-based admissions committees.
- Serve as the liaison for undergraduate nursing students applying to Westminster's graduate nursing programs.
