REQUIREMENTS NECESSARY TO SAFELY PERFORM THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS OF THE POSITION OF SOCIAL IMPACT DIRECTOR:
Strength requirements - Push/pull, lift/move up to 10 pounds.
Manual dexterity - Perform moderately difficult manipulation - typing, writing, filing.
Coordination - Perform tasks which require foot and/or hand/eye coordination - driving a car, computer entry.
Mobility - Walk, stand, sit for prolonged periods of time, drive.
Speech - Articulate with extreme accuracy.
Vision - Read small print, drive a car.
Hearing - Able to receive verbal information with some background noise.
Concentration - Able to concentrate with a high level of attention to detail with constant interruption.
Attention Span - Able to attend to complex task functions for more than 60 minutes at a time.
Conceptualization - Able to understand and relate to theories behind several related concepts.
Memory - Able to remember multiple verbal and written task-assignments given at beginning of a period extending over long period of time.
Environment Conditions - Indoor work. Able to work, on-site, in an office environment multiple days a week.

- Storytelling and Reporting:
- Review data and quantitative information from program departments to support storytelling and
- Develop and maintain dashboards, reports, visualizations, and narrative reports to effectively communicate data findings to stakeholders.
- Prepare comprehensive reports and presentations for management, program directors, board members, and other stakeholders.
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work collaboratively with program management and other staff to understand data needs and provide support.
- Communicate complex data concepts to non-technical stakeholders in a clear and concise manner.
- Partner with outside agencies and entities as needed for broader system wide (or county wide) trend analysis.
- Program Evaluation and Improvement:
- Work with program management to conduct program evaluations to assess the effectiveness of program interventions.
- Provide recommendations for program improvements based on data analysis and best practices.
- Strategic Information Systems Leadership
- Develop and implement an integrated information management strategy.
- Assess and recommend technology solutions to improve efficiency, service integration, and user experience.
- Assist in the development and implementation of data-related policies and procedures.
- Data Collection and Management:
- Supervise a small staff in the collection, cleaning, and management of data reported from the program departments.
- Ensure data integrity, accuracy, and confidentiality through regular audits and validation procedures.
- Data Analysis and Interpretation:
- Analyze data using statistical methods and software to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Interpret data results and provide actionable recommendations to improve program outcomes and service delivery.
- Training and Support:
- Provide training and support to staff on data collection methods, tools, and best practices for improved and consistent data language and processes throughout the agency.
- Supervise, coach and support staff assigned to the Social Impact Department.
- Performs all other duties assigned by the Chief Administrative Officer.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Data Science, Statistics, Social Sciences, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Minimum of five years of experience translating data for informed decision making and/or storytelling, in a human services setting.
- Proficiency in statistical software.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build relationships and work collaboratively with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Ability to work well in a diverse group.
- Positive and collaborative attitude when managing groups and overseeing initiatives.
- Ability to effectively organize and manage multiple initiatives.
- An understanding of HIPPA and Protected Health Information regulations.
- Acts 33, 34, 114, and sex offender registry clearances.
