This position participates in oversight for the provider programs that serve the Intellectual Disabilities / Autism (ID / A) community of Westmoreland County. Responsibilities include administering, planning, coordinating, implementing, monitoring, and providing technical assistance for a portion of the ID / A program under the direction of the DS Program Director, BHDS Deputy Administrator, and BHDS Administrator. You will serve as a Certified Investigation Administrative Review Committee member and Act as Chair of the Certified Investigation Peer Review Committee. This involves meetings to review competency and quality of investigations, weighing evidence, determining investigation findings, creating preventive and additional corrective action plans, and ensuring implementation and monitoring of all types of corrective action plans.
Work also includes full participation in the incident management process and community outreach efforts, as well as acting as a program liaison between the ID / A system, other areas within Westmoreland County Department of Human Services, and community stakeholders.
