NOTICE OF VACANCY
POSITION : Probation Officer I
LOCATION : Westmoreland County Adult Probation and Parole
PAY RATE : Starting wage is $21.33 per hour ($41,592.63 per year) as per the union contract.
JOB DUTIES : The purpose of this position is to supervise offenders, enforce court orders, provide counseling and other services as required, conduct investigations and prepare reports for the Court. The attached document includes a more detailed description of the job duties and responsibilities.
Job Description
JOB QUALIFICATIONS : A Bachelor’s Degree and at least one-year experience in probation and parole or other social work, or any combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge, skills and abilities.
