What are the responsibilities and job description for the Credentialing Specialist position at Weston Outpatient Surgical Center LTD?
POSITION SUMMARY: This is a full-time position for a credentialing specialist; experience preferred.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Initial and reappointment credentialing of all physicians and advanced practitioners within the center
- Active record keeping of all licenses and certifications
- Working proactively to keep on schedule of re-appointments and obtaining necessary documents in time or board meetings
- Enter supply and implant charges into center data entry.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school Diploma or equivalent
- BLS certification
- One (1) year experience as a credentialing specialist (preferred)
Must pass a background check and drug screen.
