Job Summary :

We are seeking a full-time on-site role for an Order Entry Specialist with a healthcare company specializing in custom earplugs and earpieces as well as other products to protect and enhance hearing, facilitate communication, and support hearing care professionals. In this key role, youll ensure that earpiece orders are processed with speed and precision from start to finish. Key Responsibilities :

Manage incoming orders : open, sort, label, log, and organize.
Ensure completeness of orders, inspect product specifications, and conduct final accuracy checks.
Enter order information into the Firefly data system, making any necessary corrections.
Facilitate smooth order fulfillment by verbally communicating essential order details.
Collaborate on "remake" orders and locate customer orders requiring updates.
Coordinate shipping details and maintain an efficient filing system for completed orders.
Operate the FedEx shipping system, preparing packages for shipment and ensuring accurate billing and shipping details.

Education and Experience :

A high school diploma or equivalent and additional education or experience in order processing, shipping, or customer service are a plus.

Experience in data entry or similar roles, particularly in a production or manufacturing environment, is preferred.

Skills and Abilities :

Attention to Detail : Ability to accurately inspect, log, and verify order information with high precision.

Organizational Skills : Strong capability to sort, label, and manage a large volume of orders and documents efficiently.

Communication : Clear verbal communication skills to relay order details accurately and professionally.

Computer Proficiency : Familiarity with data entry systems (e.g., Firefly), and experience with shipping systems like FedEx.

Problem-Solving : Ability to troubleshoot incomplete or incorrect orders and research issues through our computer database.

Physical and Availability Requirements :

Ability to stand, sit, and move throughout the facility as needed for order processing.

Willingness to work evening hours or overtime during high-volume periods.

Other Qualifications :

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.

Prior experience with invoicing, shipping, or logistics is a bonus but not required.
