The Commercialization Manager is responsible for representing FSQA requirements during the commercialization process of new product launches and managing the corporate training programs. The ideal person has good communication skills, accurate record keeping skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with all departments. This position will also be responsible for training as part of the commercialization process on new product attributes around new products. This position plays a key role in managing QA expectations with customer and managing customer relations during a new product launch and building a strong QA program which manages both customer and internal expectations

- Lead the FSQA efforts involved in conception to commercialization of a new product. Active participation in conceptualization meetings to final hand over to operations of a commercially viable product
- Lead FSQA efforts to understand customer QA requirements and work cross functionally to ensure QA expectations are communicated in clear precise actionable items to cross functional departments.
- Facilitate accurate record keeping and documentation of a new product launch for all QA related activities
- Ensure compliance of all new suppliers, ingredients and packaging to food safety regulations and product specification requirements both internally and customer specific.
- Work with cross functional FSQA department members to ensure Food safety, quality, regulatory and compliance requirements are met for the new product in the entirety of the process of production to shipping out finished product
- Create process flow, data recording and SOPs to map out an efficient process around the new product commercialization from a FSQA standpoint
- Evaluate use of safety chain to automate any step in the commercialization process that will help with efficiency and reporting
- Work cross functionally with multiple internal teams and customers to build strong collaborative relation and manage documentation flow, review and approvals between FSQA and other actors
- Work with compliance department on managing CAPA program to completion on identified issues during commercialization with cross functional teams and help with completion in terms of documentation and communication
- Excellent project management skills to ensure tracking of activities and timelines for FSQA related action items.
- Generate reporting and KPI's pertaining to the programs and projects managed, track and trend program effectiveness and ensure timely reporting to supervision
- Participate in Food safety team meetings to report on QA metrics regarding food safety and quality
- Willing to train for various Food safety and GFSI initiatives as part of personal development and have the ability to implement these programs as part of his daily job responsibilities
- 25% travel is anticipated with this role.
