What are the responsibilities and job description for the Medical Transportation Driver position at WESTSIDE HABILITATION CENTER?
POSITION SUMMARY:
Supports the client-care goal through maximization of transportation effectiveness. Establishes a
therapeutic relationship with assigned clients as he/she transports WHC’s clients to their approved
destinations, while providing client care in a pro-active manner. Participates in selected tasks to
reinforce and enhance the skills essential for adaptation and productivity. Utilizes approved techniques for
management of aggressive client behavior to insure the safety of clients and staff. Fulfills position duties
using value-based principles in relationships with clients/co-workers/others and practices stewardship of
resources in order to strengthen Westside’s caring mission.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: From $10.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
