Position Overview:
As a Part-Time Home Health Aide at Westview Health INC, you will play a vital role in delivering compassionate and high-quality care to our residents. This position requires flexibility to work within a structured schedule that includes morning and afternoon shifts. Your primary responsibilities will involve assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their safety and well-being, and enhancing their overall quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
- Resident Care: Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
- Health Monitoring: Monitor and record vital signs, administer medications, and promptly report any health changes to the healthcare team.
- Safety: Maintain a safe and clean environment by following infection control procedures and adhering to safety protocols, including compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Documentation: Accurately maintain up-to-date records of resident care, observations, and any incidents while ensuring confidentiality and privacy in line with HIPAA standards.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and other team members to provide the best possible care.
- Support: Assist with meal preparation, feeding, and ensure residents are engaged in social and recreational activities.
- Compliance: Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and state regulations governing assisted living care.
Qualifications:
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required. Certification as a Nursing Assistant (CNA) or similar qualification is preferred.
- Experience: Previous caregiving experience in home care or the healthcare field is preferred.
- Skills: Strong interpersonal and communication skills, the ability to work both independently and as part of a team, and basic computer proficiency.
- Attributes: Compassionate, patient, and dedicated to providing high-quality care. Must demonstrate empathy, compassion, and kindness.
- Requirements:
- Must have a valid Driver's License.
- Successfully complete a national and state background check.
- Proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
- Successfully complete state-mandated new hire training.
- TB Baseline Screening, including a Negative TB Test.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift and transfer residents.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Must be able to handle the physical and emotional demands of caregiving.
Work Environment:

Shift Available:
- Monday to Thursday Overnights: 11:00 PM- 8:00 AM
Salary: Competitive monthly salary of $2,000 - $2,500 before taxes.
