Summary : Perform inspections, checks, tests, and sampling procedures of incoming materials, parts and components used in the manufacture of water devices, electrical and electronics control panels, lights, etc. Essential Duties and Responsibilities : Perform routine daily quality inspections (ie. receiving, first articles, in-process, final) Support engineering & manufacturing team with quality related tasks Operate CMM and FARO Arm and program simple measurement routines using PC-DMIS Maintain quality lab documentation and inspection records Manage inspection equipment used in manufacturing and quality lab Work with management to ensure inspection equipment calibration is up to date Work with manufacturing teams to determine root cause of non-conforming parts Perform routine verification of inspection equipment to ensure accuracy Maintain 5S methodology in quality lab Education, Training, Skills and Experience Requirements : Technical School Diploma or equivalent 5 years Quality Control experience PC-DMIS software experience CMM Operation and Programming experience Good arithmetic skills and detail oriented skills are required Mechanical aptitude 1st Article Inspections is preferred Working knowledge of measurement instruments General proficiency of Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word Physical Demands : The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk, and sit for extended periods of time WET is an Equal Opportunity Employer; employment with WET is governed on the basis of merit, competence and qualifications and will not be influenced in any manner by race, color, religion, gender, national origin / ethnicity, veteran status, disability status, age, sexual orientation, gender identity, marital status, mental or physical disability or any other legally protected status. www.wetdesign.com Powered by JazzHR
