Wet Noses Dog Services is a dedicated pet care provider offering personalized and professional dog walking services in Salem, Beverly, South Hamilton, Danvers, Peabody, Lynnfield, Lynn, Swampscott, and Marblehead.

We are seeking a responsible and enthusiastic Dog Walker & Attendant to join our team. Do you love hiking? Get paid to hike with dogs! As a Dog Walker, you’ll provide exercise, companionship, and care for our clients’ dogs.

Our goal is to help people keep their dogs happy and well-mannered. We help with dog training, walking dogs in their neighborhoods, taking them on adventures, and treating them like a member of our family for boarding! We want to be the go-to for all of their dog related needs.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in our care.
  • Walk dogs for the allotted amount of time (e.g., 30 mins to 2 hrs), including 3-5 mile hiking adventures.
  • Pick up and drop off dogs from their homes in a timely fashion.
  • Transport dogs safely to and from their homes.
  • Understand special requests and conditions for each dog.
  • Give each dog love, attention, exercise, and potty breaks.
  • Remove pet waste and refresh water.
  • Ensure the security of clients’ homes when picking up and dropping off dogs.
  • Supervise playgroups and care for boarding dogs (e.g., walks, feeding, cleaning up).
  • Take photos of the dogs for social media/clients.
  • Communicate with clients via notebooks provided.

Qualifications

  • Must be over 18 years old with a clean driving record.
  • Must have reliable transportation and the ability to drive in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to interact with dogs in a calm, non-threatening manner.
  • Comfortable caring for up to 3 dogs at a time.
  • Experience is preferred but not required.
  • Ability to walk in all weather conditions.
  • Ability to work Monday to Friday between 8:00 am - 5:00 pm, with flexibility to accommodate most schedules (e.g., college, other jobs)

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 20 per week
