Quality Assurance Engineer with a focus on Aluminum Die Casting, CNC Machining, and GD&T. This is a demanding yet rewarding position with 75% travel requirement within Michigan and 25% to other states.

Key Duties and Responsibilities for the Aluminum Die Cast and Machining Customer Service Liaison

  • Reviewing design plans and quality manuals: Ensures you understand product specifications and manufacturing processes, ensuring quality at every stage.
  • Developing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs): This is crucial for maintaining consistency in quality assurance across various manufacturing processes.
  • Providing support to the operations team: Involves working closely with other teams, using your expertise to troubleshoot and guide them through quality challenges.
  • Root cause analysis and corrective actions: This is a significant part of the role, requiring you to identify problems and implement solutions to prevent recurring issues.
  • Data analysis for quality trends: Using data to identify and mitigate defects is key in ensuring long-term product quality and customer satisfaction.
