Job Overview:

As an IT Support member at WGTech, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our managed service clients' IT infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing technical assistance and support to external users, troubleshooting hardware and software issues, and monitoring their network systems.

Duties:

- Resolve complex computer problems affecting business applications and business end-users. Communicate effectively with users to understand and resolve technical issues promptly.
- Test, identify, and troubleshoot problems related to IT issues and escalate as necessary.
- Manage user accounts and permissions within Active Directory, Entra ID and O365.
- Monitor and maintain IT infrastructure components such as servers and storage systems.
- Install, modify, clean and repair computer hardware and software.
- Provide phone support for business end-users.
- Maintain detailed IT documentation.

Experience:

  • Proven track record in a service desk or technical support role.
  • Minimum 2 years of installing, deploying, and configuring desktop systems for end users.
  • Basic server administration, including but not limited to Microsoft Active Directory, account setup, file security, and GPOs.
  • Email system administration & troubleshooting Microsoft Exchange or Office 365.
  • Exposure to Microsoft Entra ID and\or Intune.
  • OS Imaging and software deployment experience.
  • Understanding of basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS & DHCP).
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creating and maintaining detailed documentation.
  • Strong personal and team communication skills.
  • A college degree in an Information Technology field is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year

  • Help desk: 2 years (Preferred)
  • Windows: 2 years (Preferred)
  • MSP: 1 year (Preferred)
